Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all guests at our pool area. The Lifeguard will be responsible for monitoring pool activity, providing immediate response to emergencies, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the pool area and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and accidents, including performing CPR and first aid if necessary.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
- Provide guests with information about pool safety and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in and around the pool area.
- Perform regular safety checks on pool equipment and alert management of any hazards.
- Keep a log of any incidents, accidents, or rescues that occur during the shift.
- Assist with poolside activities and events when required.
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Attend regular training to maintain lifeguard certifications and improve skills.
Requirements:
- Valid Lifeguard certification (CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety certifications).
- Previous lifeguard or similar experience preferred.
- Ability to stay alert and focused for extended periods of time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Physically fit and able to perform rescue and safety procedures when needed.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety procedures.
