Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Room Maid to join our housekeeping team. The Room Maid will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and sanitizing restrooms.
- Replenish room amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages found in guest rooms to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Follow cleaning schedules and room assignment lists to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Ensure all guest items left in rooms are handled with care and returned to the front desk if lost.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
- Handle any guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with linen and cleaning supply inventory, reporting any shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Assist in other housekeeping tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks.
- Friendly and professional attitude toward guests and team members.
